It seems that the real estate market is picking up and houses are selling. You can grab your part in one of the largest industries in the country by starting, or buying, a real estate franchise.

There are several real estate franchise opportunities that are listed in Entrepreneur.com's well known list of 500 Best Franchises of 2010. Some things that make a franchise a great business opportunity is the training that is received. These are well-established franchises that have been around a while and have had time to prove themselves.

Here are those real estate fracnhises that made the list - along with a couple of specialty ones, too:

* Keller Williams Realty (#60) - will cost about $175,000 to get started.

* RE/MAX Int'l. Inc. (#84) - can get started for about $40,000.

* Realty World Inc. (#150) - start your real estate business for about $55,000.

* Weichert Real Estate Affiliates Inc. (#236) - get started for about $50,000.

* Crye-Leike Franchises Inc. (#338) - start your franchise business for about $60,000.

Two other real estate businesses that made the list are:

* United Country Real Estate (#78) - a real estate brokerage focusing on auction and marketing services. Get started for about $12,000.

* Benham Real Estate Group (#460) - deals with sales of foreclosed properties. Start at about $12,000.
