If you are planning to be a franchiser, then right now would be the best time to take the leap. Franchising is one of the few sectors which have super seeded growths of previous years. This feature of the franchisee model is especially noteworthy since the year has been poor for businesses with the fears of a double-dip recession looming large on the heads of businessmen and consumers at large.
All the above and more is stated by the 3rd annual PwC report on franchising. In numbers, the report said that franchiser revenue rose by 12 percent, above the 10 percent forecast, while profits increased by 13%. Franchiser revenue and profit were predicted to develop by 13 percent and 18 percent, with this year's results coming in at 17% and 22% respectively.
